“Over the last six months, I have really enjoyed my one-to-one French grinds with Genevieve. Her classes were always engaging, enjoyable and well structured, making learning French much more interesting and less stressful. She helped me improve my confidence in speaking, writing and understanding French, and she always explained concepts clearly and patiently. “I found the classes very useful. The best part was the help preparing for the oral exams as you gave me personalised notes with phonetics to help pronounce words correctly. Also, the feedback on things to improve on from the several mock orals we did was invaluable. Overall, I would definitely recommend the classes to anyone looking for a H1 in French. I got a H4 in my fifth-year summer exam but after a year of working with Genevieve, I have a strong chance of getting a H1 in the Leaving cert.”

“I started Genevieve's grinds at the end of August 2024. I was not confident with my French at all and I really wanted to improve before my Leaving Certificate. Genevieve provided me with great notes that covered all aspects of the curriculum. I found these notes extremely helpful as they covered niche topics which I did not cover in class! She was very helpful and was always happy to answer any questions that I had. Genevieve did not put pressure on me to ever have much work done for her which I was grateful for as sixth year is a busy time studying 6 other subjects! Genevieve's grinds really helped me and that was evident in my results during sixth year compared to fifth year. She taught me so much in the space of 9 months! Thank you, Genevieve!!”
